The Things They Carried- T. O’Brien

So, I’m having issues trying to download audacity to my computer to edit this, so I’m just going to post it up here as it. I think this was by best reading although I’m not found of the way I sound reading stories. Anyways, there are a few places that I messed up that obviously needed to be edited out, but I really need to get this posted so I’m giving you guys the raw version. Hopefully everyone can get past those few mistakes. Enjoy!

Quite Proud of the way this turned out, but still hate the sound of my recorded voice.

Jurassic Park-New York

A couple of things about this performance….

I thought about after I had done (while not listening to it either) and realized that there was something that I could have added. I think it would have been cool if Igave the characters a very apathetic tone to emphasize the fact that the full investigation of the situation wasn’t being given. However, I’m ┬ánot quite sure that it would fit the tone of the novel just because what Crichton truly critiques is the shift from science for truth to science for business/personal interest.
